Color Me Sonoran
On our first vacation in Tucson, a little more than 3 years ago, our hotel's concierge recommended we go to the Madaras gallery. Wanting an activity in the AC and protected from the July sun, we ventured in, without many expectations. After all, we had been to art galleries before. We usually nodded our heads politely trying to at least somewhat look like refined art connoisseurs before ultimately dashing out to avoid awkward conversation with overly-assertive salespeople.
But the Madaras gallery was completely different- it was instantly warm and welcoming. Filling the 2800 square feet were gorgeous bold colors; canvases that vivified the wildlife, captured the majestic desert landscapes, and celebrated Sonoran life. It's no wonder that in her 25 years of painting, Diana Madaras has been voted Tucson's best visual artist nine times. Looking more into her, she's not just a brilliant artist, but also dedicated to her community, much of her time and resources go towards her outstanding charitable work. (You can read more HERE about Diana Madaras- I'm so inspired I had to share!)
That day, we made a decision: if our jobs brought us to Tucson, we would outfit our home with items from the Madaras Gallery, incorporating color and style while celebrating community and culture with vibrant and dazzling art. While it's taken a while for us to build and now start decorating our home, we did indeed start with this gorgeous Madaras painting.
So, I'm happy to be able to collaborate with the Madaras Gallery and share this promo code with you.
